Consumers Fuel Co has been a family owned cornerstone of Belfast since 1911. In the same building at 12 Main Street for over 100 years, Consumers Fuel has been providing heating fuel and excellent customer service to the Belfast area. Consumers Fuel started by providing coal, wood, hay, and fertilizer. In the 1930s, we expanded our business to include heating oil. By 1950, we had expanded to include propane to our offerings.
By being able to adapt and keep our business family owned and operated, we have kept customer service at the top of our priority list. Creating a family atmosphere has always been important to us, which is why most of our employees have been with the company anywhere from 10 to 40 years. You can trust our family to serve yours.
